Marija Tasic PhD is the managing partner in T&P. She obtained her doctorate (PhD) on the University of Novi Sad with her doctoral thesis “Legal protection of minority shareholders in the process of acquisition of Join Stock companies”, and Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from the University of Nis in 1995 and is a member of Belgrade and Serbian Bar Association, with 22 years of experience in Serbian corporate and commercial law. Prior to establishing law firm, she worked as a General manager in Broker-dealer company where she advised numerous clients and joint stock companies on corporate and capital market issues.
Marija’s fields of expertise are M&A, capital market, privatization, foreign investments, general corporate and PPP. Upon the enactment on Law of PPP and concessions, she started to provide legal services and advises to public and private partners in this regard, and become a sole legal adviser to C.R.E.A.M. Europe PPP Alliance. She represented several companies during the procedure of public procurement in compliance to domestic and EU regulations. She advised numerous domestic companies during privatization and restructuring process, as well as domestic and foreign clients participating and acquiring state-owned companies.
Marija finished many local and international training courses and seminars organized by Council of Europe, Chamber of Commerce, Serbian Economists’ Union seminars, School of Law seminars in Kopaonik, School of Commercial Law seminars in Vrnjacka Banja, Belgrade Stock Exchange Annual Conferences, Montenegro Stock Exchange Conferences, Banja Luka Stock Exchange etc. She published several articles and papers, and participated in several conferences in JPP and energy field as invited speaker.
Marija is currently a member of the Supervisory Board of Belgium Serbian Business Association, and regularly participates activities of CEDEF, SAM, CCIS and CCS.
Marija is fluent in Serbian and English, and conversant in Italian.
