The latest data on consumer price indices for July 2024 has been published by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. According to the information, prices in July 2024 increased by 0.4% compared to June 2024. When compared to July 2023, prices increased by 4.3%, and by 2.7% compared to December 2023.
The price increases were recorded in the following sectors: Recreation and culture (3.1%), Transport (1.0%), Communications (0.8%), Household equipment and regular maintenance (0.7%), Restaurants and hotels (0.5%), Health (0.2%), Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, and education (both by 0.1%).
A decrease in prices was noted in the categories of clothing and footwear (-0.3%) and housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels (-0.1%).
