New data on consumer price indices, which measure changes in the prices of products and services used by households for personal consumption, have been published.
According to the latest information, inflation in September 2024 is 4.2%, and compared to last month’s annual inflation, it is in decline by 0.1%, when it was 4.3%.
Consumer prices in September 2024 compared to August 2024 are higher by 0.1%, while compared to December 2023 they are higher by 3.3%. Price growth was recorded for:
- Restaurants and hotels, food, soft drinks, apartment equipment and ongoing maintenance;
- Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, education, health, alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
On the other hand, a drop in prices was recorded for transport, recreation and culture, clothing and footwear.
