The Business Registers Agency has published the “Report on the Top 100… Companies in 2023,” which includes, along with an analysis, lists of the top 100 companies evaluated based on business success, financial capacities, as well as from the perspective of losses.
In 2023, the most profitable companies were predominantly large enterprises (86), while medium-sized (9) and micro-enterprises (5) also recorded significant growth in net profit.
The most successful company in 2023 was EPS AD BEOGRAD, which achieved the highest net profit in the economy, amounting to an impressive 112,447 million dinars, with business assets of 1,068,814 million dinars and capital of 632,016 million dinars. This company employed the largest number of workers, totaling 19,545, and underwent a change in legal form in 2023, becoming a joint-stock company.
Other notable companies in terms of profitability include Serbia Zijin Mining doo Bor, NIS ad Novi Sad, Telekom Srbija A.D. Beograd, and Serbia Zijin Copper doo Bor.
Additionally, companies with high business revenues include JP Srbijagas Novi Sad and the retail chain DELHAIZE Serbia doo Beograd. On the other hand, companies that recorded losses include HIP-PETROHEMIJA doo Pančevo, JP Putevi Srbije Beograd, JKP GSP Beograd, and others.
